Blogpost 1: Spanking

Good day everyone! This is Dwight Pilares, making a blog about spanking. Does everybody know what spanking is? In this blog, we will talk further about it but let me first inform you what it really means.  Well, Spanking basically means hitting something. Specifically, spanking is the act of striking the buttocks of another person to cause temporary pain without producing physical injury.  It generally involves one person striking the buttocks of another person with an open hand. Further within this topic, I will explain to you the different side of spanking with its severe forms and what we so called Spanking Dominance.

Spanking, referred to other countries as slapping or smacking, is the use of hands in hitting. Also the most known corporal punishment, spanking is used as a form of discipline to children, teenagers or sometimes, even adults.

There are other forms of corporal punishments, such as switching, paddling, belting, caning, whipping, and birching, involve the use of an implement instead of a hand.

Spanking involves a parent or guardian, striking children's buttocks as punishment for bad or inappropriate behavior.

To sum it up, spanking is a very effective way of teaching children to behave in an appropriate manner, but there is a question that really makes me think. Is it correct to use spanking as a disciplinary action for children? What will be the effects of spanking in the way of thinking of the children?
